Diane Steinbrueck’s life in private practice has served as an example to future women entrepreneurs. Her love of the Central Texas landscape and the hundreds of projects her firm designed are the permanent memorial to her life. This scholarship memorializes that life’s work and inspires others to share her dream of improving the world and creating beauty. We hope that donations to this fund can be reflective of her spirit and dedication.

The Diane Steinbrueck Women in Landscape Architecture Scholarship fund will help talented and eager women students in the pursuit of their professional goals. Your generosity as a prospective donor combines with many others who have already committed resources for the fund.

The fund is managed professionally by the Austin Community Foundation (ACF).
Austin Community Foundation is the catalyst for generosity in Austin. They bring together philanthropists, dollars and ideas to make Austin a better place for everyone. As a data-driven organization, they are always looking for innovative opportunities that can make the greatest impact for the communities of Central Texas.

An annual donation will help the fund grow and allow additional scholarships to be awarded each year to multiple recipients. The fund will award its’ first scholarship in 2023. Donors will be recognized as desired on the website.
